STYLING TIPS AND POSING 101
POSING:
I always tell my couples at the start of the session to keep physical contact with each other. So, yes you have to show some PDA (public display of affection).
Not sure what to do with your hands? Put them:
-
on your partner’s waist
-
small of their back
-
cup their face gently in your hands
-
run it through their hair
-
wrap them around the back of their neck or waist
-
hold their hands
Make sure to hold each other closely to avoid any negative space between your bodies. Nothing looks worse than a limp arm that you don’t know what to do with in your pictures – again, think contact and try to find a natural spot to put your arm, or just try bending it (gentlemen can try a casual hand in the pocket (with a thumb out), ladies you can pop it on your partners hip (or yours)), or place your arm on theirs to convey a natural sense of connection. Just keep those arms busy!

Can you feel the bond between these two couples in their engagement photo? These are some of my favorite images, because whether their eyes are open or closed, the physical contact they have in the picture really shows so much love!
